I am looking for help in finding the records for my great grandfather Manuel Francisco Corriea born in 1850 on Faial. There is some discrepancy on his birthdate. Some American records show Oct. of 1850 and some April 6, 1850. I am looking through the baptisimal records on the Cultura Acores website and would like to know the format they follow. I am looking through the records from 1849-1860, but there are no demarcations that I can tell for each year. I am assuming that the first name presented is the name of the child. Am I correct in this assumption? My great grandparents were married in 1875 although I do not know where, I am assuming on Faial, as Mary came to the California later. Would marriage records also be available on the Cultura Acores website?
