Anna's Paternal Grandparents were Antonio Jose de Souza and Josefa Maria; Her Maternal Grandparents were Mathias Jose and Maria Josefa. All grandparents were living at the time of the Baptism, in the parish of Nossa Senhora da Luz da Graciosa. Anna was born 9-May-1816, and was baptized on the 19th day of the same month, in the same church.*
