Marlene, My Rogers and Tavares are from Candelaria, Madelena and Criacao Velha, Pico. I've traced back and made Family Finder matches to Francisco Vieira born 5 Feb 1664 and Catarina Andrade. My great-grandfather Basilio Rodrigues came to California in the late 1800's. His parents were Francisco Rodrigues Tavares and Maria Jacinta of Criacao Velha, Pico. Let's work to find a connection.
