Hi again,

Changing the birth-year to 1860-1875 in the Azores for the Manuel ROSE /
ROSA in Cambridge, MA, and I find this record. It reminded me that
Philomena ROSE and her older brothers came from Fayal / Faial, and that is
also where she married. She married Francisco MOURA from Sao Miguel.
(Her mother was from Pico, I believe.) I don't know if the Manuel
mentioned here dying in Boston at Age 36 is the one I'm looking for, but it
could show why I couldn't find much on him.

(One of my thoughts is that Mrs. Philomena MOURA made several trips,
possibly coming over 3 times, with each daughter, starting in ~1905. On
census pages in MA, she is known as Mrs. Phoebe MOURA, and on daughter,
Elsie's marriage record, she was Mrs. Phoebe MORRIS.)

That's all for this morning.
