The couple I am focusing on is Estavao Correia and Anna de Mello. Estevao was born 1 Apr 1730, Achada, to Antonio Correya and Barbara Almeyda. I have found the marriages for 3 of Estevao's siblings in Achada (Matias -1755 m. Maria de Mello, Manoel-1753 m. Antonia dos Reis (also related to me through Miguel do Monte and Maria da Costa), and Antonio-1755 m. Antonio Roza Rezende) I don't have the parents for Anna de Mello. Records for Estevao and Anna's children state that she was from Fenais da Luz.
Estevao and Anna had 5 children that I know of: Genoveva, Barbara, Jose, Joao, and Manoel (I have marriage and some children info. on Barbara, Joao, and Manoel--I am descended from Manoel) As far as I know, Genoveva was their first child, born 9 Jan 1757, Achada. I've gone through the marriages from 1747 to 1764 in Achada thus far. I'd be surprised to find them before 1747 unless I find there were more children. I fear the marriage is in that 2 year gap where there are no records. Thanks for any help or ideas. I'm not sure I want to tackle Fenais da Luz just yet.
