I have received a request for DNA testing for a person whose direct maternal line leads back to Bárbara da Conceição, wife of Manuel de Ávila Cardoso. She was born in the early 1700s on Pico.
Since Bárbara is not my ancestor, she doesn't qualify for the free testing I am offering, but might be of interest to other researchers.
There is a chance I have an additional two older generations for her, but it's not yet confirmed. However they are not my ancestors, either.
