Greetings from the Chicago area. I am wondering whether anyone knows
of a Frenchman who came to Terceira in the late 1600s or early 1700s? I
believe he may have married a Sousa (Souza?) and fathered a child named
Antonio, who was born c. 1707 and emigrated to Connecticut in 1726. Does this
scenario ring any bells with anyone?
