Hi Lee,
The record is pretty difficult to read. First, there does not seem to be a
date, however maybe someone can find a mention of it somewhere in the
record. Sometimes the priest either forgot to write the date or it could be
the same date as the previous marriage record. It looks like it reads
Antonio Jorge, son of Pedro? (Po) Goncalves (Glz)? (deceased) and of Agada
(Ag) da Costa? (tough to make out the last name. It could be Cotta or some
other name), with Barbara (Ba) de Vasconcellos, daughter of Bartolomeu
(Bau) Goncalves (Glz)? and Maria Alves? (hard to tell last name. Could be
Alvares, Neves, or something else).
For better clarification, I would try and find the baptismal records for
Antonio Jorge and Barbara Vasconcellos. Also look for the death record of
the father of Antonio Jorge, since it states that he died before the
marriage (before April 1671).
I do not know if this is the correct record you are looking for since the
Ana Vasconcellos is actually Barbara in the record.
