This is [at most] only a similarity to the name in question, but maybe it
will help: My grandfather was born on in Lajes, Pico as Antonio Inacio
Brum. When he came to North America his name was eventually "Americanized"
to Antone Brown Enas. My family always assumed that Enas was a translation
of Inacio. Enos spelled with an 'o' seems more common than Enas with an
'a', but I've found examples of both. Same goes for Inacio without a 'g'
and Ignacio with a 'g'. I think the later is most common. Good Luck
