My summer home is within the freguesia of Santo Amaro, so I'll check with my contacts there about Igor Espínola de França's book. There are already two large books published with government support that are based on the 1883 census. The first book was on Prainha and the second one (which I have) is on Santo Amaro. I wondered when someone would do something similar for other places in the conceilho.
