I failed to mention in my previous post why I brought up Ethiopia when there are many other countries in East Africa. When the SNP utility was up and running on Gedmatch I ran my kit through and came up with rare SNP mutation matches with people with origins in Eritrea that country borders the area of Ethiopia where the missionary effort was focused in the North of Ethiopia.
