Interesting story I've wondered about possible partial Jewish ancestry in my case for over 20 years I've been asked countless times if I was Jewish that is also why I started looking. My maternal grandfather looked like Benjamin Netanyahu the Prime Minister of Israel.
I don't think these calculators are precise yet as far as the percentages go for groups with diverse ancestry such as Portuguese people they have a long ways to go but I think they are useful in identifying which groups have contributed DNA. The other issue is that most people think of ancestry as being in a genealogical time frame, in the case of Azoreans within the last 300-500 years depending on how far your paper trail goes.
