Manuel Alvares Homem.

Homem is a surname, in this case. Homem means "man" in portuguese and 
sometimes when the priest lists the godparents he uses to mention if they 
are married, and then he writes "homem casado" (married man) or simply 
"casado" just after the name of the godparent. So, be aware, this can lead 
to some confusion.
