My great grandfather was Joseph Pine, he was born Jose DA Rosa Pinheiro in 1893, Cedros, Faial. Worked as a servant for a family in Providence Rhode Island as a teen. Married in 1917, had 2 sons, my grandpa for one. They lived in South Dartmouth with gggrandpa, Joseph worked at the Gosnold textile mill, his WWI draft reg lists a throat affliction and he died very very early so possibly throat cancer something of the sort. That's where the story ends though I can't find a death certificate that's it so I'm stuck. Mike
