While searching for children of one of my great grandparents I found some records that I am questioning. Two records that I've confirmed list the parents as Francisco de Andrade born in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria & Antonia de Sacramento born in Assuncao, Santa Maria, but they are 18 years apart and three others that list the parents as *Antonio Francisco* (one has the last name as de Andrade) & Antonia de Sacramento. I have yet to find Francisco's baptismo record, that is on my to-do list. If it turns out that he was born Antonio Francisco de Andrade would there be a reason for *not *using his given name? Paul G.
