My grandfather, Antonio da Roza Maciel, (Marcial) came from Pico to the U.S. on the Veronica in 1883. I don't know where the ship docked in the U.S. Where might it have been? It doesn't tell on the record that I have. .Anne Rose Snyder

Certainly, that too is a possibility if the dates are right. I know absolutely that she was in San Francisco and married by 1887 when her first child is born. Of course the fact that many records burned in the 1906 earthquake does not make things any easier.
