Since I found what appears to be my ancestor in the Azores passport records, and it says he was going to Rio by way of Lisbon, I figured I would take a crack at the Rio passenger records. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where to find them. I did a quick Google search to find out that Familysearch is currently indexing them. What's odd is that the records themselves don't appear to be currently online. Do they remove them while they're being indexed? Makes no sense, if they did. Anyways, figured I would ask here in case anyone has a suggestion on where to find them.
