Hi Robert, The Familysearch doesn't release a project until it is complete. So for example if there's a batch of passports from 1900-1920, it won't be released for viewing until every page in the project has been indexed and arbitrated twice for accuracy. I arbitrate for them and it's a lengthy process from start to finish as a lot of people that are indexing don't follow the project rules and batches are returned to be redone.
