Hi Group, This is a clearly written, easy to read record, but there are three areas I would like help with, please. The bride's parents each have a word following their names which I can't make out. I see the bride's information as: "...Maria da Fonseca, filha de An.to da Fonseca [unknown word/name] defunto, e de sua molher Catarina [unknown word/name]..." Can anyone suggest what these two words/names are? (as a side question: if these words are nouns or adjectives rather than names, why didn't the groom's parents have similar?) The third area I'd appreciate clarification is with the note about a dispensation of consanguinity. I read that the consanguinity is of the 4th degree, but my grasp of the language isn't sufficient to understand whether the phrase preceding the list of witnesses contains any information of interest or if it is simply standard wording for such cases.
