Catarina Gonçalves is in the testamento of Catarina Evangelho (Rute Dias Gregório, Terra e fortuna nos primordios da ilha Terceira 1450-1550, tome II , p. 686-688). This book is on line : https://repositorio.uac.pt/handle/10400.3/260 B – Mécia de Anes de Andrade : Her son, Gaspar Gonçalves Machado « da Ribeira Seca », is the first child born in the Terceira Island : “Gonçalo Annes devia de ser de pouco tempo casado, porque se diz que Mecia Annes vieira pejada com Gaspar Gonçalves, seu primogenito” (Anaes a Ilha Terceira - AIT, Vol I, p. 39) C – Wife o Pedro de Barcelos. Her complete name is “Inês Gonçalves Machado da Ribeira Seca”, as her brother Gaspar Machado da Ribeira Seca : “Em memoria e honra de seu pai, que viveu naquelle sitio, mandou que os administradores da capella se chamassem - da Ribeira Sécca” (AIT, Vol. I, p. 43) D – Marcos de Barcelos : they are a few of Marcos de Barcelos : - Marcos de Barcelos Machado married with Branca Gomes, parents of Catarina Evangelho de Lima married on 1587, 22 januray in Praia (see Paria, casamentos 1585-1592, ph .10)? This Marcos is maior son of Diogo de Barcelos Machado e de Catarina Evangelho (Rute Dias Gregorio; p. 665-666, testamento de Diogo de Barcelos) - Marcos de Barcelos married with Maria Lopes filha de Afonso Lopes e de Maria (or Catarina) Rodrigues (Frei Diogo da Chagas, Espelh Cristalino, p. 403-404). They are not the Marcos parents. A son of Marcos and Maria, Baltazar Machado de Barcelos married in Praia (26-09-1580) with Joana Godinho Ledesma (sam source). Maria de Barcelos de Ledesma, daughter of Baltazar e Joana, married with her “primo irmao” Diogo de Barcelos Evangelho (same source). Then, Marcos de Barcelos married with Maria Lopes, woul be the son of Manoel de Barcelos and Beatriz Evangelho, and irmão de Manoel de Barcelos Evangelho married with Leonor Teixeira, theses parents of Diogo married with Maria de Barcelos Ledesma.
