Hi Linda,

I didn't find his baptismal record in Biscoitos. I'll try to find in São
Bartolomeu dos Regatos, the city that his parents got married. I think that
he were going to Brazil to never come back, because the ticket was very
expensive on that time and I noticed from historical records that the
Brazilian Government offered to pay the tickets for portuguese imigrants.

For me proprietario says that people own their business in Terceira. I
think that it was difficult for the government of Terceira to know who were
proprietario or trabalhador in another country.
