Anita, You need to do a lot more work with U.S. records before trying to find Pico connection. You need to find that freguesia (village) over there.
You also need a genealogy software program, either on your computer or online to keep things straight. And you will find it much easier to use names instead of the relationship to you. In paragraph 1, you say, "My great grandmother was born in 1856. They lived in Pico Azores. According to my father They had 13 children..." In paragraph 2, you say, "My great grandparents immigrated to California. They had 3 children.." I don't know if you are making typos or if you are confused. State the names, dates, locations lived and the children they had. If you know more about one of the children, then start a new paragraph and list that child's name, dates, location, spouse(s), etc. Here's more to get you started: goo.gl/iWdHQM Good luck, Cheri Mello Listowner, Azores-Gen Researching: Vila Franca, Ponta Garca, Ribeira Quente, Ribeira das Tainhas, Achada -- For options, such as changing to List, Digest, Abridged, or No Mail (vacation) mode, log into your Google account and visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/Azores.
