Thanks Theresa! This Antonio is twisting my mind for weeks! *Antonio Resendes* on his marriage record and on his son's baptism and marriage record. And *Antonio Resendes Loura/Loyra* in his and his wife's death records. In his marriages it states that he is "filho de pais nao sabidos" and baptized in the Matriz, and in his death record says he is "natural de Sao Pedro". http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMA-VP-ASSUNCAO-B-1667-1697/SMA-VP-ASSUNCAO-B-1667-1697_item1/P121.html (top left) I'm trying to link any piece i can find, to see if he really is a son of unknown parents, or if he was left at the Roda and later recovered by his parents, and how does the Loura fits in all this...
