Yes, ALL companies need to start taking more of a global perspective when it comes to attracting genealogists from all over the world. Naming patterns are not the same world wide. I'm not a member of My Heritage, but maybe those of you who are should email them and ask for the option of "no surname" assigned. Those of Mexican heritage would need First name, dad's surname, mom's surname (I think) and it sounds like My Heritage doesn't offer that either.
