I'm looking for a couple, Manuel Goncalves and Maria de Sousa, married somewhere in Sao Miguel island (they baptized a child in Santa Maria in 1709. He is believed to be from Maia. She is from Santa Maria Island, more specifically from Santo Espirito. Since Sao Miguel has a lot of parishes I was wondering when you research if you could keep these people in mind. I have looked in Maia and did not find them.
