I have found Antonio's arrival in Providence RI, on the passenger log for the ship "Roma" out of Angra; but it gives no clue as to when it left. How long would have been typical for that journey, does anyone know?
Also, what would be a normal time frame for a person to apply for a passport prior to departure? I searched the Angra passportos for February and March 1914, but did not find him.
