(Cross posted to Azores, Madeira, and Island Routes lists) The deadline to register for the Genealogy Conference and Research Trip in Salt Lake City, Utah from Tuesday, September 6 through Friday, September 9th is approaching! The deadline to reserve a hotel room and mail in your registration is Monday, August 8th.
A block of 25 rooms were reserved for us (under the name Azores Genealogy) at the rate of $85 USD a night, single or double occupancy. When I checked about 4 days ago, 19 of the rooms had been reserved by people planning on attending our conference. I can add rooms to the block, but I need to do so sooner rather than later (the hotel is starting to run short on rooms Thursday and Friday night). So if you were thinking of going, please reserve your room now. Between the hotel reservations and conference registrations, we are aware of about 30 people attending so far. Sounds like we are going to learn a lot and have quite a bit of fun!
