I have followed a line back to the 1700s and found the marriage record for the family member, married in Santa Barbara in 1799. Then i followed it back to the baptism record. All names and info seem to match but the groom of the 1799 marriage was born in 1788, according to what I've found. The first child was mot born until 1806. Is it possible that the groom really was 11 at marriage but didn't start having children until age 18? Any of you pros sren this before?
