You're going to have to verify the work on this tree. The "ou" (or) may indicate that he's done whole family or cluster research, collecting ALL the children, not just his direct line. He may have found Carolina as Carolina de Jesus on a few records and as Carolina Augusta on a few records. So he's listed both names. Same for Maria Jacinta or Maria da Estrela. Maybe Maria was Maria Jacinta. Maybe after a few kids she prayed to the Virgin Mary of the Stars during childbirth and after that wanted to be known as Maria da Estrela. Back in time, the mother wasn't present during the baptism. They used to have women on bed rest after giving birth, so the father and godparents took the baby to the baptism. Maybe they didn't know Maria's middle name, so they took a guess. The tree on the Internet says Carolina was born in Sao Pedro in Ribeira Grande. Maybe he means the Sao Pedro church in Ribeira Seca in the council of Ribeira Grande. Maybe he made a typo and means the Sao Pedro church in Nordestinho, Ponta Delgada, or Vila Franca.
