Thank you all for your help, but now I'm a bit more confused. CITCEM shows Mateus Garcia Rosa and his wife Isabel de Mendonca as having two daughters: Madalena b 1693, and Margarida b1688. It goes on to show that MARGARIDA was married to Antonio da Costa Soares, not Madalena. However, Madalena's Obito says she was the wife of Antonio. That is assuming I had the right obito in the first place, and translated it correctly. Could that have been MARGARIDA's Obito instead? I'm wondering if the use of abbreviations is messing me up...and that perhaps the my original link was actually referring to Margarida?
