Julio, Thanks for your response and the information on the Moniz Tracado. I can see that you have more children for Francisco and Francisca than we have (Jose and Ludovina). Are you related to this line? If so, I think my cousin would like to contact you. She is a direct decendant of the line through Francisco's brother, Thomas Moniz Tracado. The next generation went by Moniz Thomas and many of them ended up in Fall River, Massachusetts. I have information on this line if you are interested.
Thanks also for the info. on Moniz Tome. It looks like that is a different family. It is good to know. At least we can leave that family alone. We can work on Francisco and see if any of the more current descendants ended up in Canada. Thanks again for your help!
