Hi "E" How interesting! can you post a link to the record?
As India was a British colony, it's very possible that someone with an English surname could have been born there and ended up in the Azores. Goa, now part of the India, was originally a Portuguese colony. And, Bombay (now Mumbai) is about 400 miles from Goa. I'd really like to see the record, if possible. Thanks!
