Now you are talking about passports to a thread where you are talking about Azorean records and American records. I have no idea which passport records you seek: the American or the Azorean passaportes. It sounds like you are new to genealogy. You need to start by getting a genealogy software program (Legacy Family Tree has their Standard Edition for free and RootsMagic has their Essentials free) and document everything, creating a timeline for your ancestors. You will create the timeline backwards, by beginning with the last event that occurred in their life: death/burial.
