Thanks Cheri. I found Eugenio's baptismal in Achadinha and no mention of his father in the margin and of course he was incognito in the record. I wonder if he was named on Eugenio's marriage record in 1921. Someone knew who he was and penned it in that margin note. Hmmm. Maybe obtaining the marriage certificate from the civil registry would shed some light on this.
