Hi Sam: Kathy Cardosa has a link on her website to an extensive family history of the Flemish settlers of the Azores by Belgian-Dutch genealogist Andre Claeys. You will find the descendants of Willem de Kersmacere AKA Willem van der Hagen there. Also an explanation of his research to indicate that Willem's name was in all probability de Kersemacere not vd Hagen.
