The Madeira list has moved from Rootsweb and is now on Google Groups. From the list owner, Luis Beal (luisbeal at yahoo.com):
Dear Madeiran family, After 17 years of being the administrator of the Rootsweb PRT-Madeira emailing list I have finally had enough of their problems. As you know Rootsweb had big issues last year when they decided to upgrade their software without warning their administrators, and because of that a huge deal of spam went to our inboxes. Other issues surfaced from that upgrade that are still a big problem. As an administrator, right now, I am not able to post to the list and my messages do not show on the archives. I know some of you are having the same issues so have finally decided to move the list to Google Groups. I am posting the link to the group.....
