Thanks Margaret & Cheri,

So far I don’t think Manuel Ferreira and Umbelina de Jesus ever married but so
far they had three daughters.

She's probably a foundling. Some Priests gave funky names to expostos. Nimfa
is same as Nymph. Early spelling was Nympha, Ninpha and current Ninfa.

Nimfa? That's a new name for me.

The margin says:

Died in this council of Ribeira Grande on the twenty four of January of the
current year. Then I lose it until Conservatoria of the Registo Civil of
Ribeira Grande. Then some more stuff. The last date is 17 April 1942. So I'd
say she died. 24 Jan 1942.

Rick,

The child is his natural daughter and first of the name, of Manuel Ferreira.
He is married to someone else, Nimfa da Camara who was residing na Lomba da
Algarvia. He is the son of Bonifacio Cabral and Maria Pimentel, paternal
grandparents.

It doesn't follow format because everything about it is different.

It lists the mother as Umbelina de Jesus, daughter of Manuel Correia e
Fortunata Molheira, maternal grandparents

Manuel Ferreira is married to ? da Camara and is from Sao Pedro in Nordestinho
. The mother is Umbelina de Jesus. This record doesn’t seem to follow the
usual format. Below it gives Umbelina parents Manuel Correia and Fortunata
(Melleia?). The note in the margin is difficult to read but is there a date of
her death?
