I did my DNA through Ancestry and was surprised to see how small the percentage of Iberian heritage was there. I discussed this with a genealogist at my local library and she told me that for hundreds of years, the Azores were a stopping point for all manner of ships from around he world and that Azorian DNA is much more diverse than one might expect. Any comments from those of you who have studied this?
