I was looking at the Feteira, Faial baptisms for 1845-1860 on CCA and ranacross what appears to be an index of births. The alphabetical list starts on page 246 and ends on page 254. My guess is that the list is an index of the children's names followed by their fathers' names. Is that right? I don't know what follows the fathers' name though. It is the first time I have seen anything like this and thought I would share.
