Some books have it in the back. Some have separate indices. MOST freguesias don't have this though.
If you are using Tombo.pt, it will let you know if your freguesia has an index. This freguesia does not: [image: Inline image 1] But I happen to know that the later baptisms in this freguesia have indices. This freguesia has indices: [image: Inline image 2] So you just have to look.
