Yes, page 70 of the 1839 rolls shows José Machado Gomes and Maria Jesus with Margarida and Jose, but without Antonio (who was 18 by then?) and without their youngest, Teresa ... would definitely be interested in seeing the '44. Holy cow, there's so much data out there that I don't have!
