Hi Doreen, I think the priest mistakenly gave the maternal grandfather's name in the beginning and then corrected himself. If you disregard everything after neta paterna and up to the point of correction (digo), it says "neta paterna de José Machado de Castro e Maria do Carmo e maternal de Francisco Miguel de Castro e de Maria de Jesus"
I think that is what he meant to say.
