I wrote it wrong :) On Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 12:03:04 AM UTC-4, Trisha wrote: Hello! I have been working on my genealogy for quite some time. My family from the Azores is a complete brick wall. Here is what I know: My great grandpa was Frank Joseph Leonardo (Possibly Francisco Jose) b. 1889 in Terceira. He emigrated in abt. 1909. He married: Emelia (census says Amelia) Gertrude Simas b. 1894 in Terceira. She emigrated in about 1913. Besides that, I really have zero information on them. Franks mothers maiden name may have been Goncalves. I have found census info for a "Amancio Golcalves Leonardo" who I believe may be Franks older brother. Emelia's mothers maiden name may be Brito. Anyone know of what I should be looking? I'm so lost here. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Azores Genealogy" group.
