Hi Thea, Although it's abbreviated, I believe you are correct. Manuel Gonçalves das Calhetas and Isabel Vieira.
Go to the Azores GenWeb here (make sure you bookmark this one; Rootsweb had issues and one site is very old): http://www.worldgenweb.org/azrwgw/ Then look for the Maps button, pick Sao Miguel, and you will find a Calhetas in Ribeira Grande. So the dad was from a different freguesia.
