Cheri,
This is my second husband, we do not have kids together, although I am
interested in his line, his mom had an extensive genealogy file which had
been sitting in a box since she passed 2 years ago (going back to early
1500). When I became interested in genealogy in January, I took over her
file. Basically just merged her tree with mine (Using FamilyTree software).
My late husband died 20 years ago, when my youngest was 8 months old, his
family I do not know very much about and next time I go visit my mother in
law (we are still close) in mainland Portugal, I will try to get her DNA,
she's 87 and still very sharp.
