Thanks Leonor; I thought that was the case but; I had remembered once someone saying that it was never with an “s” or maybe the person said never a “z”. Can’t remember which. Anyway, a function of time period.

I’ve seen Joze, Thereza, Roza and even the parish church was Nossa Senhora do Rozario where as today it is Nossa Senhora do Rosario.
