Liz, Mine are from Lajes do Pico. I guess these names are fairly common. Jose Silvieira Brum married a Maria Brum and their daughter married a Antonio Pereira Dutra and had my Maria Dutra. We may still be related somewhere. My tree is on FamilyTreeDNA. Happy hunting,Pat
