Both are a different name in Guill’s book. I would enter them as such unless I
find them different in other records.

Subject: [AZORES-Genealogy] Surnames: Barros vs Bairos (Vila do Porto, Santa
Maria)

Good morning everyone; I’m looking for opinions/knowledge here. In the record
below, right side, the father’s name looks to be to be “Barros” and the
paternal grandfather looks like “Bairos” is this just a typical difference of
surname or did the pries get sloppy when writing Barros?

Thanks everyone,

Sam (Mazatlán, MX)
