I don't translate names (if I'm curious and want to learn words in Portuguese, I use an online translator or a Portuguese-English dictionary). I don't translate any place beyond entering the Azores. Some put Azores and some put Açores, but after that, it's Portuguese. The island, the council, the freguesia, the neighborhood, the people...they all remain in the Portuguese language.
It gets weird translating some of the places. Any sometimes, funny (Rabo de Peixe = Fish tail).
