Hi, I have been doing some Research to find out more about my grandfather that came over on the SS Romanica in 1910 from the Azores. My dad also named Abel Roman Avila born in 1919 never had a chance to meet him. Abel or Roman as he was called passed away in 1919. My father Abel Avila passed away in 1977 when I was 15 yrs old. We never knew anything about that side of the family. Thank you so much for any info.
